WellSpan appoints Ashley Zinn to senior vice president and chief people officer role

YORK, Pa. (Oct. 7, 2025) – WellSpan Health has promoted Ashley Zinn to the role of senior vice president and chief people officer for the system. In this capacity, Zinn will oversee WellSpan's human capital strategy. This includes talent acquisition, developing and implementing policies and programs related to team member relations, health services, education, training, engagement and organizational and leadership development. She will also oversee WellSpan’s workforce planning, culture, belonging, compensation and benefits.

Zinn most recently served as WellSpan Health’s vice president of human resources. She has been instrumental in driving enterprise human resource strategy, leadership for acquisitions and divestitures, workforce planning, team member programs, worker’s compensation and talent acquisition, among other responsibilities.

 

She brings more than 15 years' experience to her new role. She began her career at Holy Spirit Hospital in 2004, before joining St. David’s Healthcare in 2010. She has been with WellSpan since 2016, starting as an employee relations specialist with increasing oversight as regional human resources director and senior human resources director prior to her current role which she’s held since 2022.
