Brown Plus Promotes Courtney Catlin to New Role of Learning and Development Manager

Leading accounting and advisory firm, Brown Plus, is thrilled to announce that it has promoted Courtney Catlin, CPA, into the role of Learning and Development Manager, effective August 1, 2025.
 
The Learning and Development Manager is a new role at Brown Plus, positioned within the Firm’s Human Resources (HR) Department. In this role, Courtney is responsible for assessing Firm-wide learning needs and designing, implementing and managing comprehensive training programs that drive professional growth. She works closely with leadership and department managers to ensure training programs align with strategic business objectives, address skill gaps and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Courtney is heavily involved with several mentorship and leadership initiatives at Brown Plus. She serves on the Firm’s Internship Program Committee, which designs a meaningful experience for audit and tax interns, as well as the Firm’s Onboarding Training Committee, which builds a strong onboarding curriculum for new team members. She is also a former member of the Brown Plus Emerging Professionals (BEP) Group Steering Committee, which plans monthly professional development, networking and community service opportunities for the Firm’s young professionals.
 
Courtney is not only dedicated to developing the accounting professionals at Brown Plus; she is also dedicated to developing accounting professionals around the world. Courtney is an active member of LEA Global’s Young Professionals Group Steering Committee, which facilitates regular meetings, conferences and working groups to support the development of young accounting professionals across the globe.

In addition to her professional role, Courtney also serves as a member of Port Ann Wesleyan Church’s Board of Directors.
 
Prior to her promotion to Learning and Development Manager, Courtney was a Tax Supervisor at Brown Plus. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Pennsylvania and has over five years of experience providing tax services to clients across a variety of industries. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Messiah University.
