These distinctions reflect clinical excellence in neurosciences, critical care, cardiac, pulmonary care and gastrointestinal care services across Pennsylvania and the country, in addition to five-star distinctions for specific treatment issues with the full list by hospital, below. A five-star distinction by Healthgrades indicates that a hospital has performed exceptionally well in a specific condition or procedure.
