Cleaning Technician at Broom & Tie Cleaning

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. We are a residential cleaning service so you will be in and out of people's homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are welcoming and well-kept. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a clean environment.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, including countertops, tables, and equipment.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working condition.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Reliable transportation is necessary for travel between job sites.
