This convening will be a three-day collaborative, hands-on, and love-centered event bringing colleagues from across the country, from inside and outside of the legal profession together to learn, teach, implement, and celebrate. It will be a time of networking, sharing, and growing together to create an antiracist legal academy, legal profession, and country. We look forward to sharing time and space with you!
We are organizing this Convening into three cohorts:
Rule of Law — Programming will be geared towards those in the legal academy and legal profession who are looking toward establishing antiracist principles into their spaces and policies. The information shared will help educators, administrators, and attorneys learn more about embedding antiracism into the culture of their spaces.
Antiracist Leadership Certificate (Law Enforcement Specific) — Programming will be specific to law enforcement professionals who are working toward obtaining the Antiracist Leadership Certificate. (Financial Assistance Available)
Leadership and Community — Participants from outside the legal academy and/or higher education may find this cohort most appealing. Programming will be geared toward leaders at every level as well as community members looking to implement antiracist principles into their organizations.
