Agatha Christie saw her writing translated to the silver screen, the stage, the radio, and to television during her lifetime, beginning in 1928 with The Passing of Mr. Quinn. There were many more after that. Join us as Christie scholar Teresa Peschel presents 13 Poirots and 7 Marples, an exploration of how Agatha Christie has been adapted in film and TV!
Teresa Peschel never planned to become a writer, nor did she plan to become an expert on film versions of Agatha Christie stories. She always read mysteries but didn’t seek out Agatha’s writing. Then she got a laptop of her very own and began writing. She and her husband, Bill, run an independent publishing company, Peschel Press, which includes an annotated version of all of Agatha Christie’s works.
